OUR BROODMARES
OUR BLOODLINES
Over the years we have had a large number of mares of
very varied breeding. In the early days of the AQHA there were
basically only working bred or sprint bred horses. We always had
working bred horses until the early 90's when Halter Horses started to
trickle into Australia. About that time
we had a two pronged breeding program, having working bred stallions
such as Shiney Doc, Docs Commander & Docs Levan until in the early
90's we purchased Superior Halter Horse & National Champion Justa
Rich Kid from noted Halter breeder Rosemary Clifton.
From that time we started a Halter program by breeding some of our best
looking working bred mares to the '"new" Halter bloodlines.
Of course breeding has progressed a long way from those early days & we have left the working horses behind. Now our mares reflect the most successful Halter bloodlines available. The one thing remaining though is the desire to breed good looking halter horses that can still ride! We believe most people still want the option to ride their Halter Horses & this has had a strong influence on our breeding program.

THE GIRLS
SSQ SEEKING KINGS RANSOM Q44033
Amy is a tall elegant Chestnut mare being by noted broodmare sire Ima Cool Seeker (imp/dec) & from one of the most successful Halter Horse mares from the past Tarascan Kings Gold. Tarascan Kings Gold was a Superior Halter Horse that was virtually unbeated during her show career. A huge buckskin mare- she was a sight to behold!
Amy herself was unshown due to injury but is expecting her first LP KIDS YELLA IMAGE foal in 2008.

Treasure is a beautiful big bodied daughter of Ima Cool Seeker (imp/dec) & from Superior Halter Horse Just
Priceless. Just Priceless & her dam Count Again has gone on
to be two of the greatest producing Halter broodmares of all time in
Australia. Just a Treasure is expecting her first foal by LP KIDS YELLA
IMAGE in 2008.
HEAVENLY STUFF Q33472
Heavenly is a gorgeous sorrel girl with flaxen mane & tail. She is
herself a National Halter Champion being by Strutin His Stuff (imp/exp)
& from renown exceptional broodmare & Halter Champion Chantel
Bingo. She had a lovely filly by LP KIDS YELLA IMAGE in 2007 & is
back in foal to him for 2008.

Kia is a very pretty mare with the characteristic Temonee chrome. She
was shown very successfully as a weanling to win a number of
prestigious Futurities. An injury limited her later show caree. She is
by Temonee (imp) & from the good producer Miss Ultimate(ROM
HALTER). She had a palomino colt in 2007 (Timmy- Sale Pen-SOLD) to LP KIDS
YELLA IMAGE & is back in foal to him for 2008.
MYONEA NDONLY Q52623
Tory is the prettiest dapple grey mare with incredible bulk. She
was shown lightly as a weanling to place 3rd in a big class of 21
fillies at the2004 Nationals. She is by My Only Concention (imp) from
Hopscotch- herself a daughter of One Scotch Delight from Superior
Halter Horse Simply Irrestible. She is in foal to LP KIDS YELLA IMAGE
for 2008.
IRRESTOBLE Q51873
Jazz is a liver chestnut mare by the well respected sire Noble
TKO (imp) & from National Champion Sweet Sert N Te. She had
one of our nicest foals- a pally colt- by LP KIDS YELLA IMAGE last
season (see SALE PEN- Dizzy-SOLD). She is back in foal to LP KIDS YELLA
IMAGE for 2008.
ONE DELIGHTFUL CLU Q51580
KC is a tall elegant dapple grey mare- one of the nicest
daughters of Kid Cross (imp son of Kid Clu) & from Hopscotch (one
Scotch Delight X Simply Irrestible). She had limited showing as a
weanling before injury finished her show career. She is expecting her
first foal by LP KIDS YELLA IMAGE in 2008.
UNCONDITIONAL Q57468
Jade is a lovely leggy but muscled liver chestnut filly by My Only
Concention (imp) from multi AQHA Point Earning mare Ramarcher Jessies
Pop (Jessies Koolibah X Remarcher Final Chapter). She was unshown
due to our move from Queensland & was bred as a 2yo to LP KIDS
YELLA IMAGE for a 2008 baby.
PRECIOUS PRESCRIPTION Q16284
Precious is one of our last remaining working bred mares but as
she has produced ourstanding babies by Halter stallions she will remain
with us. She is a lovely bay "real quarter horse" type by Major
Prescription (imp) from KBs War Livia (War Beaver imp X Green Olive
imp). She had a chestnut colt by LP KIDS YELLA IMAge last season (See
Sale Pen- Digger) & is back in foal to him for a 2008 foal.
PRETTY IMPRESSIVE Q14745
Lady is one of the few remaining daughters of early Halter
import MBJ Charmer- a horse that not only started the Halter explosion
in Australia.but also had a huge impact on Western Pleasure horses. She
is fom a Medora Tradewinds mare & has produced some lovely foals
including State Grand Champions & Natioal Reserve Champion. She is
in foal to LP KIDS YELLA IMAGE for a 2008 foal.

Prissy is in the
show barn at present being prepped to show. She is a BIG sorrel
2yo filly with flaxen mane by My Only Concention(imp) from the
double Strutin His Stuff bred mare Sheza Pretty Strutin (Sunday Strutin
X Pretty Miss Strutin). She will be shown in 2008.
RUBY RED DRESS Q58035
Ruby is a dark steel grey 3yo filly by National
Grand Champion & Superior Halter Horse Jus a Rich Kid from our
great producer Hopscotch( One Scotch Delight imp X Simply Irrestible). She will be bred in 2008.
INDICATIVE unregistered
Indi is a lovely bay filly by Perpetration (imp) & from
Superior Halter mareSimply Awesome( by Strutin His Stuff (imp/exp) from
All The Best). Unfortunately we have been unable to get her registered
due to a dispute beween the stallion owner (Burke Stud)& the breeder(Jackie Harwicke). She
will be bred to LP KIDS YELLA IMAGE in 2008.

sabino filly by Justa Cowboy (by Just Shameless) from SSQ Seeking Kings
Ransom (see above). We bought her mum in foal & we were lucky
enough to get a coloured filly. She is being prepared to show later in
2008.
